stainless-steel glazing system

The Botanical Garden in Culiacán, Mexico serves as a public space dedicated to the preservation of botanical species. It also provides art exhibitions, educational programs, and workshops for the general public. The park features a series of buildings designed by Tatiana Bilbao, which prioritize geometric shapes and spacious designs that blend with the surrounding gardens.

Our part in this project was to fabricate and install the glazing system for these buildings. The glazing system comprised doors and windows with sharp geometries and oversize format. The doors and windows bent and extended at their vertices, creating unique pieces that operated with tailored handles and locks. The windows were constructed using rectangular steel cold rolled profiles, covered in stainless steel for a clean appearance. All pieces were manufactured at Kinetica's headquarters in Monterrey, and later transported to Culiacán for mechanical assembly, sealing, and additional stainless steel finishing details included on-site by our team.
